FRI 20th Anniversary - April 17 & 18, 2026
The Freshman Research Initiative (FRI) at The University of Texas at Austin is turning 20, and we can’t imagine celebrating without you!
For two decades, FRI has empowered undergraduates to take their first steps into real scientific discovery and build skills that carry far beyond the lab. With the support of inspiring faculty, peer mentors, and FRI supporters, students gain the confidence, curiosity, and collaborative experience that prepare them for future careers and the breakthroughs ahead.
Join us in the Welch Grand Concourse on campus to commemorate this special anniversary!
