Introducing Our New FRI Director and CNS Office of Experiential Learning

The Freshman Research Initiative (FRI) is delighted to announce that we have found a new home dedicated to supporting, coordinating, and expanding experiential learning opportunities for our students in the CNS Office of Experiential Learning.

Dr. Kara Rogers, who previously led FRI, has been appointed Senior Director of Experiential Learning. We are confident that under her leadership, our hands-on learning programs, such as FRI, the Inventors Program, and others, will continue to flourish and expand.

We are also pleased to welcome Dr. Lauren DePue as the new FRI Faculty Director.  (former FRI Assistant Director and Research Educator). With her extensive experience in research-based education and higher education administration, she is well-equipped to lead FRI and ensure its continued success.

FRI is eager to continue our dedication to offering outstanding experiential learning experiences and the lasting impact we will have on research-based education.
