For the last 20 years, thousands of FRI students have advanced scientific exploration while building lasting connections and careers in STEM. Guided by innovative, award-winning faculty, FRI provides a unique hands-on research experience that continues to transform undergraduate science education.
This milestone celebration will honor our shared history, showcase current research, and look ahead to the future of scientific impact.

Technology & Science Undergraduate Research Forum | 12 – 4 pm
Kick off the celebration by experiencing the impact of student research up close at the College of Natural Sciences Research Forum, the largest undergraduate research symposium on the 40 Acres. Join us in the Welch Hall Grand Concourse, where students will showcase a wide variety of undergraduate research. Participate as a guest or judge and help recognize outstanding student presentations!
