The Freshman Research Initiative is committed to the safety of all participating students. Students, mentors, and others who work in FRI labs should be familiar with procedures for ensuring safety.
In case of an accident in lab, treat wounds (if any), typically by running under water. Immediately contact your research educator and the 24-Hour Emergency Environmental Health and Safety Hotline at 512-471-3511.
