The FRI welcomes applications from all incoming students and is compatible with several other programs for incoming freshman, including Dean's Scholars Honor's Program, Health Science Honors Plan II, TIP, Texas IP, WINS, Emerging Scholars and Biology Scholars.

To apply:

1. You can have your High School Science teacher nominate you for admission to our program. The nomination form is now closed. It will re-open Jan 2014 for the Freshman class of 2014-2015. 

 2. Students interested in attending UT Fall 2013 will be able to apply through our Early Application process. The early application for 2013 is now closed. The early application will re-open in Jan 2014 for the Freshman class of 2014-2015. Questions?  Contact Dr. Grace Choy at gchoy@mail.utexas.edu.

3. If you missed the early applicaiton deadline of May 6th 2013, you can still fill out a Summer FRI application. The Summer application will open early June 2013. Please apply the week you are attending Summer orientation. The application deadline is 9pm on Day 1 of each orientation session. Applicants will be informed by 6pm on Day 2 if they are admitted to the program.
